Mission Statement of the IEEE Canadian Review
Its principal objectives are:
- To inform Canadian members of IEEE on issues related to the impacts of technology, its role in providing economic and societal benefits within Canada, and policy issues around its adoption,
- To recognize the achievements of the people within IEEE Canada as represented through their diverse technical and non-technical activities, events and awards,
- To foster growth in the size and quality of Canada’s pool of technology professionals,
- To support initiatives and organizational objectives of the IEEE Canada leadership team,
- To reach out to members of Canada’s broad technology community — spanning industry, academia and government.
General Information
The IEEE Canadian Review is published in hard copy three times/year as follows: Spring (mailed in March); Summer (mailed in late June); Fall (mailed mid-October). Issues are also posted on-line in PDF format with a short delay following mailout.
Advertising Policy
Organizations are invited to place corporate advertising in the IEEE Canadian Review. For information regarding rates and specifications, please contact the Advertising Coordinator.
Circulation
The circulation of the IEEE Canadian Review is the entire membership of IEEE Canada, representing more than 15,000 subscribers.

Authors are invited to contact the Editor-in-Chief regarding proposals for technology content or member/community news items. Please see the Submitting Items page.
Annual Subscription Price
Free of charge to all IEEE members in Canada. For IEEE members outside Canada: $20.00/year. Price for non-members: $35.00/year. Corporations and libraries: $37.50/year. Additional copies may be ordered at a cost of $7.50 each from the IEEE Canada Administrator.
Art Direction
The current overall look and feel of the IEEE Canadian Review comes from the efforts of Mr. Pal Singh. Since the Summer 2013 issue, his inspired page lay-outs, original illustrations and distinctive branding of columns and departments have elevated this publication’s presentation to an unprecedented level. Readers who wish to express their appreciation to Mr. Singh can reach him at proartdirector@yahoo.ca.
Reprint Permission
Abstracting is permitted with credit to the source. Libraries are permitted to photocopy for private use of patrons.
